The Digilent Arty A7 enables a quick and easy jump start for embedded applications ranging from compute-intensive Linux based systems to light-weight microcontroller applications. Designed around the industry’s best low-end performance per-watt Artix-7 FPGA from Xilinx. Arty kit features the Xilinx MicroBlaze Processor customizable for virtually any processor use case. Unlike other single board computers, Arty isn't bound to a single set of processing peripherals; one moment it's a communication powerhouse chock-full of UARTs, SPIs, IICs, and an Ethernet MAC, and the next it's a meticulous timekeeper with a dozen 32-bit timers.
Additionally, with the universally popular expansion headers (Arduino R3 Headers and our Pmod headers), Arty will become the most adaptable tool in your project tool box. Arty is also an economical way to njump start your development on RISC-V. When configured as the open-sourced Freedom E310, you’ll be able to prototype with SiFive’s E31 RISC-V Core IP and debug C and/or RISC-V assembly programs. Arty A7 comes in two FPGA variants: Arty A7-35T features Xilinx XC7A35TICSG324-1L. Arty A7-100T features the larger Xilinx XC7A100TCSG324-1.
